  2. Under what business name are drafting services rendered?
    Brian M. Curran's business is structured as a sole proprietorship that he legally operates under his personal name of Brian M. Curran.
  3. What drafting software is used?
    AutoCAD ®.
  4. In what format do deliverables come in?
    All clients are encouraged to receive deliverables in electronic format via email. However, what ultimately dictates the format of deliverables is what works best for the client.
  5. Can drafting services be rendered at my office?
    Typically no.
  6. When can work on my project commence?
    After a simple proposal is approved, and in some instances after a retainer is received.
  7. What type of turnaround time can I expect?
    Projects are booked on a rolling queue, and scheduled according to their priority. Turnaround time is discussed on a project by project basis, before any work commences.
  8. What forms of payment are accepted?
    Checks made payable to Brian M. Curran are preferred, but cash and money orders are fine.
  9. When are balances due?
    Within 30 days of invoice, or as agreed upon.
  10. Where do I begin?
    An email or a phone call describing the scope of your need is a good way to begin. In fact, whether local or long distance, all clients are encouraged to do business from start-to-finish electronically.
  11. How do I transmit all the necessary project background information?
    Email all electronic files to brian@draftingservices.com. Try to keep individual emails to around 10MB in size. If the sum total of all your electronic files exceeds 100MB, then instead of emailing the files you may want to consider burning the files onto a CD for mailing. All mail should be sent to the address listed on the contact page.
  12. Brian M. Curran seems well able to handle small to medium sized projects, but can he handle large projects too?
    Yes. Small projects Brian M. Curran completes himself, and he would gear-up with extra manpower for large projects.
  13. As a consultant, does Brian M. Curran carry insurance?
    Brian M. Curran carries General Liability Insurance, NYS Workers' Compensation Insurance and NYS Disability Benefits Insurance for any men he may staff your project with. An insurance certificate could gladly be provided at any time.
