To date Brian M. Curran has acted as an AutoCAD Liaison for two different clients. The first was an Engineering office which ran Microstation, but needed to interface with their Architectural joint venture partner's office which ran AutoCAD. On this project all the base files were received from the joint venture partner's office in AutoCAD format, the engineering details were drafted upon the base files, and the files were returned to the joint venture partner for review. - This project ran intermittently for a few months.
A Mechanical Contractor that normally ran Vectorworks was the other client for whom Brian M. Curran served as an AutoCAD Liaison. The Mechanical Contractor was the HVAC contractor on a NYC DEP waste water treatment plant project, and needed to provide the project's General Contractor with coordination drawings in AutoCAD format. The liaison work went as follows: The base files for the project were provided by the project's General Contractor in AutoCAD format, the HVAC details were drafted upon them, and the files were returned to the GC for review. - This project ran intermittently for over a year.
