Brian M. Curran is the sole proprietor of a New York City based drafting service business that he runs under his personal name. He provides outsourced AutoCAD drafting services to the broader AEC industry. The projects he handles could be small or large, and located locally or nationally.
Prior to running his drafting service business, Brian M. Curran graduated from the University at Buffalo with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. Directly after graduation he worked as an Engineer for a few years in the AEC industry's Heavy Civil Construction and Structural Engineering Design sectors. Through those labors he accumulated diversified experience on construction, design, and inspection projects for New York metropolitan area clients inclusive of Metro-North Railroad, NYCDEP, NYCDOS, NYCTA, NYSDOT, and PANY&NJ.
Then, with the handful of years of field and office experience he gained as an Engineer, Brian M. Curran was no longer interested in pursuing such a career path. He instead had a desire to create his own business opportunity. In January of 2007 he ventured out on his own by offering himself as a freelance Computer Aided Drafter to various New York City AEC industry companies. Later that year he transitioned out of a freelance role, into running his own drafting service business.
Nowadays Brian M. Curran can be found quite pleased with his role as a small business owner. To date he has successfully provided drafting services to architectural companies, engineering companies, homeowners, and a variety of other clientele.
